What a job demands. يحتاج is always followed by إلى — learn the pair as one item.ما تتطلبه المهنة، ويأتي بعد «يحتاج» حرفُ «إلى» دائمًا.

The gender of the verb

وظيفة is feminine, so تحتاج. طبيب is masculine, so يحتاج. The verb follows the noun in front of it.الفعل يتبع الاسم: تحتاج الوظيفة، ويحتاج الطبيب.
