Past experience

الخبرة الماضية

al-khibra al-māḍiya

Work experience means the past tense — and the past changes at the END of the verb, not the front.الخبرةُ تستدعي الماضي، والماضي يتغير آخره لا أوله.

Past tense endings نهايات الماضي

Pronoun Verb English
أنا عملتُ I worked
أنتَ عملتَ you worked (m)
أنتِ عملتِ you worked (f)
هو عملَ he worked
هي عملتْ she worked
نحن عملنا we worked
هم عملوا they worked
Front versus back

Present: أعملُ — the change is at the front. Past: عملتُ — the change is at the end. That contrast is the whole system.المضارع يتغير أوله، والماضي يتغير آخره.
