جمع غير العاقل
jamʿ ghayr al-ʿāqil
The rule that surprises everyone: a plural of things is treated as feminine singular.القاعدة التي تفاجئ الجميع: جمع غير العاقل يعامَل معاملة المفردة المؤنثة.
If the plural is of objects, animals or ideas — not people — its adjective and verb are feminine singular.إذا كان الجمعُ لغيرِ العقلاء فصفتُه وفعلُه مفردةٌ مؤنثة.
