How much / how many

kam

كم asks how many or how much. The word after it is singular, not plural — that is the point everyone gets wrong.«كم» للسؤال عن العدد أو المقدار، ويأتي بعدها الاسم مفردًا لا جمعًا.

Singular after كم

— one book, singular — not كم كتبًا. English says "how many books", Arabic says "how many book".
