| الطقس + adjective | الطقسُ اليومَ مشمس. | The weather today is sunny. |
| verb + noun | تهطلُ الأمطارُ في الشتاء. | Rain falls in winter. |
| درجة الحرارة + number | درجةُ الحرارةِ عشرون درجة. | The temperature is twenty degrees. |
مناخ describes a place over years; طقس describes today. مناخ الصحراء حار, but الطقس اليوم مشمس.المناخ للسنوات والطقس لليوم.
